About a week ago I noticed my battery light would flash a few times during a drive and then it would stop. this happened a few times then the light flashing issue went away, and now my voltage gauge sits at the "N" in normal where as before it was dead in the middle of "normal". When I throttle up the needle goes right to the middle of "normal" like before. I let off and it drops. Could this be an alternator problem or just batteries? Ive never had this happen before.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Zach

Sounds like batteries to me.
I had one go bad and only noticed it because it was hard to start when it wasn't plugged in at night. Check to see if your batteries have those green dots on the top of them, one of mine was green the other wasn't, I replaced both and no more problems.

On top of the alternator are a single and triple wire. Wiggle the middle wire of the triple and make sure there is good contact.
