I would like to know if anyone has ever put electric fans in place of the clutch fan. I would like to take it off and run the electric fans as the clutch unit is dead.

This has been asked over the years. As of now, I have not heard of any electrical fans replacing the stock fan. They will NOT move the air that the stock fan moves.

Should be cheaper to stay with the stock clutch unit. There are a few peeps out there running electrics with no issues. It is not recommended if you tow hard and heavy.

I would not mess with an electric fan. Get a stock one.
