extra connectors on truck

I have a f250sd with KR and I got it fully loaded with nav. I noticed 2 connectors on the rear side of the truck under the bed. One on either side of the frame not connected to anything. They are white. Does anyone know what this is for? Also, noticed a white connector under the hood above the right wheel.

yes I do. Could they be for the lighted running boards?

possible. Do the running board lights work? Don't know what the ones under the bed would be for though

They are most likely for the secondary fuel sending unit if you only have a single tank. Should be a 4-pin round connector if that's what it is.
