Hey All
Got a 04 350 DRW with a recently installed 6" and BFG KM2 315 75 16's.. I noticed alot of body sway which I didnt expect. The truck has both front and rear sway bars still on and rear air bags. Only running single front shocks now. Wondering if anyone has advice to get the sway out.

:welcome3 to SDD. You can't have everything at once, without spending a bunch of $$$. The higher your truck is, the more it will want to sway. Plain physics should tell you this, longer lever with the lift.

Nice truck, yes the doubles will help. You may need heavier sway bars front and rear. Did your lift kit come with new sway bars drops? If not, I would look there first.

Thanks guys, this is my second super duty however the first
Was a single rear. Same lift but I did do wider tires.
Not a bit of sway on that rig. Oh it was an 04 as well.
Too bad when down in Mexico going through contingency for the baja 1000
One of the locals like my truck so much they took it never to be seen.
Thank god I bought the Mexican insurance.
Anyway I think the lift kept all of the stock sway bar hangers,
I go back for a 500 mu bolt re tighten and I've told the installer
Of the issue so we will see what he comes up with.
One of you guts mentioned heavier sway bars, I know I have
The thinner ones becouse I replaced the bushings so I will look into those.
I just don't Luke the ride performance compared to my first 350
It's really scary at times keeping it in the lane something is not right.
I will keep you all post what I come up with, wonder if the tires have something
To do with it but I've ran the myss on the other truck just not the kn2 s
Thanks guts

May look at putting in a satellite tracking system. Then if stolen it can be tracked all over the world. There is a lock system you can get for your truck. I dont have the info on this computer. I'll post it tomorrow.

Have you had the alignment checked? That will cause wandering. Check the easy things before you go tearing it apart to replace sway bars. Shocks?? Sway bar connecting links??

Hello and Welcome to SSD.com
I think I would do what Dave says. Did the Mexican insurance, pay off good, I always buy it for my truck when we cross over the border,
just never had to use it and hope I don't.
