How much do you guys think my factory changer would be worth? I'm looking at the AVIC-D3 from Pioneer and I have been since I picked the truck up in November. I think I'm ready to bite the bullet on it, but I was hoping I could recoup some of the cost from my stock head unit.

TIA,
Rusty

if you can get 50 or 100 bucks for it you should JUMP ON IT !

Theres a MILLION OE radios available if ebay werent enough,
consider EVERY car audio shop around has 'em stacked in the
corners collecting dust in their shops.

You think the 6 disc in dash changer is only worth 50 or 100 bucks? Wow, ok I'll probably just keep it for that much. If I ever trade it in, I don't want to give them the Navi head unit.

I always keep my OEM unit so I don't have to find a new one when it comes time to sell the truck. If you put a few hundred $ or more into aftermarket you don't want to give that away when you sell/trade in your truck.

Now that I'm home, I checked eBay as well.

I'm going with the Avic-D3 in order to maintain steering wheel controls, not to mention touchscreen navi, backup camera input, dvd player, etc.

But, I'll keep my OEM head unit to reinstall when it comes time to sell or trade this truck off.

Thanks everyone,
Rusty

Rustin, doesn't the Ford 2008 CD changer units play MP3 discs? If they do they'd be tagging at $200+ :sly
