Rustin, doesn't the Ford 2008 CD changer units play MP3 discs? If they do they'd be tagging at $200+ :sly

but who would spend that when you can buy an after market
unit that plays cd's, mp3's, wma...for LESS $ ?

CHP, Thanks. I hadn't thought of that.

Bush, I completely understand your point. But, there are a ton of folks out there that demand OEM only and refuse to go aftermarket for whatever reason. On the last couple of Jeeps I built, I sold the OEM cd players on eBay for over 250 bucks and my new one that was lightyears better quality wise was half the price. It all depends on what they want.

I think I will be listing my 08 head unit for sale on the Bay soon!

Thanks everyone,
Rusty

Due to aftermarket car stereo thieves I choose to retain the stock look but if I could afford a stock appearing CD6 that has MP3 capability built in that costs $200 I'd fork it out no problem.:sweet

From the 08 FX4 I drove I think the sound quality was outstanding compared to our stock 02 too bad the 08 design doesn't swap in.
