Finally....Tobacco free after 50 years.

Congrats, that was one of the hardest habits I had to quit also, I quit 2 years ago Feb 8, after 20 years.

You will with out a doubt notice a difference in how you feel in just a few weeks.

Stick with it, once you get past the first few weeks! Good luck brother!

You will get so you don't think about it at all but it takes a couple of years. Keep on the wagon. I've been off them since 1976 and was doing 2 cartons a week. Hard to quit but totally worth the effort.

Congrats.....Let me throw this at ya. I have been out of high school for about 20 yrs (just to show my age) I started chewing copenhagen in 9th or 10th grade. I rodeo'ed hard for quite some time, always with a dip in. I worked for Cope-Skoal for a few years with all my products sent to me for free.....One night at a PBR event, I took a dip, spit it out and havent had a dip in 2 years. I have zero urge. It is good to hear you are doing well with it. It is so worth it. Good luck

Sounds like NH and I are near about the same ageropeller. I never used tobacco products when I was a teen. Tried the smoking thing a few times at some high school parties but it did nothing for me so I figured I wouldnt keep up with the stupid habit. I went for about 15 years after that and went through a divorce. For whatever dumbass reason I decided to start chewing, I think it was somthing like this---I had the idea that by getting rid of the old lady I probably added a good 10 years to my life and well being so why not try to chew. I chewed for about 3 or 4 years and woke up one morning thinking.... WTH am I doing? Put it down and havent had a dip for over three years now. I'm glad I walked away from it when I did. My wife now has been smoking for 20 years and is trying to quit as we speak........... yeah, its a ton o'fun at my house.

Best of luck to all you guys that are or were hooked, stay off the stuff.

S.D.Mills Congratulations! You and I must have started that smoking thing about the same year .Had my first fag Jan.1956 and many since, quit for short periods-4,5,6, weeks since but could never say I didn't want to lite up again. This time I got Ziban from the Doc havent had a puff since Jan.21,'06 and hope that I can hang in there as well as you. BC Robertoh

$3.10 a carton back then. With what it costs today, I still use it as a reason for buying the new chip, motor cycle, 4" exhaust system, ............................
