A while back Ford owned some Cummins stock but not enough to dictate what the company did. All large companies own all kinds of interest in a lot of different companies. Your article said Cummins will provide engines it said nothing about Ford buying Cummins. Ford already uses Cummins engines in some of its trucks so what is the big news here? Sterling trucks which is a subsididary of Frieghtliner uses Ford frames and parts I believe. This story has been going around for a while, I always asked the Ford guys if Cummins is such a piece of shat why would Ford want to buy it? Explain me that one?

There is a small blurb in the new edition of Diesel Power about the possibility of a new smaller diesel in the 150. Dont remember what it said exactly and may have been mere speculation but it's somewhere in the first 20 pages.
