Thanks, I had forgotten about that parts list. Now I need to know where to find engine serial no. I did find one of those part no. on one parts supplier but it did not say what years it covered. Neither part no. showed up one Powerstroke.com.

You can find the serial number in two places. On the HPOP there is/was a white sticker that has it. Also it's stamped on the engine near the oil filter head.

:thanks That will have to wait until morning. I am needing to replace one on my 95 and I have found one that is for a 96 or 97 with no part no. on it so I don't know if it will fit until I can find out if they are the same. They probably are but who knows the way they replace things!

I don't know if it will or not. Wiring to the Fuel Restriction Sensor may need to be lengthened and the other (major) difference would be the fuel return line connection on the regulator. 94-95's had a regular hose clamp method, where the later ones had the o-ringed push on deal. Cheers!
