Fuel pressure rise

I have about 300 miles since I changed fuel filters. Now my fuel pressure gauge is peged at 100psi. If I put the engine under a load it goes down to 58-60lbs but at light throttle it jumps around all over the gauge between 60 and 100psi. I took spring out of regulator and cleaned flushed and reinstalled but acts the same. Could I have a restriction in return line? Runs fine but I know the pressure is to high. Any ideas? I'm going to grap test gauges from work tomorrow to check pressures incase its my sender or gauge. Need the truck for towing race truck and an ATV trip coming too.

Well it ended up being my pressure gauge. Sender works but gauge died. Test gauge read a little low so might try playing with it alittle once I get new gauge.
