When In Doubt,THROTTLE ON
I noticed my fuel pressure was running lower than normal so I changed out filters. In the cap on the frame rail filter I had a small amout of metal fileings. There wasn't anything stuck to the outside of filter. This is the third time I have noticed them while doing a filter change. The dealership knew about it when my HPOP went out but just blew me off when I questioned it. After the new HPOP was installed the pump seemed noisey but went away after a few days. I'm back up to my normal 60-62lbs pressure but am a little worried about the pump eating its self up. Would I be better off putting in a aftermarket pump assembly or replace the stock one as an option. Maybe it will run forever. Anybody else had pump issues?
