Fuel Question.

I have a buddy with a 94' PSD. They as you all know have two fuel tanks on them. Is problem is when running on the front tank, it cuts out real bad and has even died on him before. Sometimes it will also run just fine off this tank. Yes he has fuel in it. I told him it was prolly the screen in the tank, but I'm not for sure? Is there a intank pump that could be going bad? Truck runs fine off the rear tank, so I am pretty sure that it's not the mechanical pump in the valley. Ideas guys? Thanks

No pump in the tank. If it's only that tank, probably a restriction or air leak between the fuel pickup and the 6 port valve.

I am guessing a leak somewhere in the system which is allowing air into the system.
