gauge pod question

I'm going to be getting a pyro soon, but I am needing to figure out how I'm going to mount it in. I am unwilling to loose my A-pillar grab handle, so the only options to put a guage there is either a single pod mounted below it, or a guage cup.

I have a guage cup already, and am considering using it, but I think I would be happier with the look of a plastic pod.

I saw this one on Evil-bay...has anyone used these guys stuff?

There is a pod that mounts to the top of the steering column, a single. Also you can drill a hole in the dash and mount it there, to the right of the column.... Humm Not sure if you can do the hole thing on a 05...

Also there is a overhead mount, they make a double for that.

check out some of the sponsors 'round here...there are mounts
that will allow you to mount a gauge to the steering colum or next
to the dash cluster.

personally i think you needs a minimum of 2 gauges...a pyro and
a trans temp (opps never mind i see you have a 6speed stick).

looking for an MT (manual trans) mount not the AT mount.

In general I am wary of ebay vendors who charge 100% of the product price for shipping. I recently bought something and was charge $11.40 for shipping. When it arrived, the stamp was for 80 cents. To me, that is just borderline fraud.

Peter I agree...but those who do that are typically TRYING to avoid

I thought about putting it in the panel where the 4x4 switch would be...mine is manual shift t-case...but I've already got some switches there, so that's a no-go.

I really like the one that mounts on the top of the steering column, but I emailed Autometer and they said that they didn't make it for the 05+ trucks...not yet anyway.

Totally agree on the evilbay shipping...it does suck. Some of them are really making the money from the shipping and not the auction itself.
