Article GM-Chrysler Merger?

The Duracummax could be bad news for us Ford guys!!!! I guess this will put to rest the rumor about Ford buying Cummins...

Well might not be to bad, Dodge uses Cummins like Ford uses navistar.
GM might kick Cummins out.

I've read another article that indicated that GM approached Ford first and were told to take a hike.

I don't think that the new cummins engine will be nearly as much of the powerhouse and fuel mizer that the 5.9 is/was. We'll have to see where it goes in the future. With Ford moving toward inhouse diesel engines the relationship with the big truck engines is disappearing. So should GM & Chrysler merge I would expect the Cummins engine in light duty trucks to die at the end of the current contract.

And GM's stock 52 week high was $43.20.
Fridays close was $4.89.

Almost 10:1 ratio, where as Fords was about a 4:1 ratio. Both are in deep doo doo.

Would this merger mean that a new Ramarodo with a Duracummax would have the Retro, "Chopped" roof line too ?

And the Ram badge would have a Bow Tie in the center..
