Haven't seen an AC Delco filter for the 6.7 but I was disappointed not to see Motorcraft on their list. This isn't new news, but actual data gives people something to absorb vs. opinionated bashing.

I've run a K&N filter on my '08 Procharged Mustang for years and my intake pipe is not dusty/dirty, nor is the inlet of the blower. I don't subject my mustang to off road use or dust storms either, and I clean it/re-oil it religiously (every oil change (6mo/6,000 miles)) so the filter never "drys out". I think responsible care/use of an oiled cotton filter has its place, but as data shows, for daily use a OEM filter is not sub-par to an aftermarket by any means. For maximum performance at peak CFM consumption a K&N is great for drag strip ET or max dyno performance I suppose. But tow/haul/off road and daily street use, I'll keep a motorcraft (or AC Delco if I find one) between my $18,000 engine and the dust.

This does make me sad though. I've been itching to do a cold air intake so I can get a little more audiable turbo whistle. It's stupid but it makes me get the ****ty grin when I hear it during a load up lol. I'll grow up one day... maybe.
