I'm heading from Denver to Rapid City here in a few weeks and am in the market for an 18' ft car hauler. They are outrageously expensive here in Denver (can save over $500 by going just over the border into Kansas) so I was hoping they were cheaper in Rapid, but haven't had any luck finding a dealer online. Anyone know of any good dealers up there?

ahh you need something like this....LINK

dont forget to budget money for a SPARE tire, mounting hardware
and extra bearings...and most trailers dont come w/ bearing buddies
so youll wanna add those too.

I extended my ramps another 3ft...makes it easier to get
LOW cars up on the trailer...you can see in the photos my
ramps are stowed under the back.

Yup, something exactly like that.

Believe me, spare tireS are definitely in the budget. The majority of my towing will be on I-70 between Denver and Moab. Very easy to lose a trailer tire through there, and it's a royal PITA trying to find another tire in rural Utah on a Sunday afternoon (trust me, I've tried). I can fab up the mounts, so not worried about that at all (or just toss them in the back of the truck).

And I don't need ramps, even without a dove. :sly

Yeah, it can manage getting up on a trailer pretty good . . . lol

Unless I blow up the front end or something. I'll have the ramps, but probably won't use them very much.

Well I would suggest a Ridgeline Trailer but you are fairly good ways out we build all sizes of open utility trailers from a small ATV trailer all the way up to a 40 Ton Equipment Trailer but the trailer industry is high priced now where metal and other materials are through the rough a 18 ft Dovetail 5 ton with chainrail both axle breaks runs around 2100 Dollars.
