Question Gpr

Hello

It been a long time but just have been really busy. But I do have a question on my truck. outside air temp was 13 degrees not plugged in turn key on glow plugs cycled just like normal

truck fired right up but 10 seconds later glow plugs shut off they did not cycle for the 90 seconds. What do you think problem lye's.

There is no problem.
How do you know they shut off?

When they cycle my voltage is 12.8 and when they shut off my voltage is 14.7

sure it wasn't the PCM commanding the alternator to full-field?
Mine take 2 minutes before it flares the dash lights..

Don't the '02 & '03 use a glow plug controller to run the GPR?

Well as far as the glow plug controller I'm not sure but I do know that I have the GPR.

my dash and interior lights are always dim till the GPR shuts off and that's what was weird about last night it started lights are dim 10 seconds later light are bright.

yes it starts fine. just something I noticed and was just seeing what other thought.
