Help Needed Had the column apart yet?

Anyone had the steering column apart yet?

Reason I ask is I have to replace the 2 plastic parts that connect from the end of the key cylinder to the ignition switch about midway down the column.

I have the Ford parts on hand to install,just don't know how to access everything inside the column

Here's a couple pics of the actuator parts that need to replace the worn ones,apparently this is something that occurs in quite a few fords using the same parts

I did that turn signal mod thing a while back that was supposed to get put into the WIKI. I did a thread with pics and a write-up.

While I didn't go that deep into the column, it should give you a good start.
