havent had much time to spend with my 2005 gto - almost 8 months without driving it. anyhow, since the trucks goin into the shop on monday for some warranty work, figured id get it all cleaned up and sport it around town for a while.

i think my dpf is toast - and its screwing with the rest of the truck. i am dumping way too much smoke, from idle through acceleration on a stock program. i had a reflash done a month ago that was supposed to help this, but its only gotten worse. plus, ive lost 2 mpg, which is killer when you drive the truck almost every day.

i had to do a quick run to austin <for a 2hr meeting...who comes up
w/ this crap>...cost me 50 bucks round trip (even at 2.70 per gallon).

i was sitting next to a 6.4 at the light the other day...damm thing
puff'd a couple of good rounds of BLACK smoke waiting for the light
to change...i figured it was goin' thru its burn cycle...
