I'm Greg F. 46 yrs old and just bought my first Diesel 7/25.2008 4X4 Lariat Crew cab Blue w/gold at bottom.I've always been a ford man but nearly bought a 2007 Chev duramax but just couldn't do it.We own a 28' Travel Trailer which weighs loaded probably7500 lbs.After I had a little 500 miles on my new toy i hooked upand pulled it around the block which I was very pleased with the power this truck has.I've been reading about adding a chip for more hp and mpg.Any info would be appreciated if you added a chip on the 6.4.Its been so long since I was on a forum I don't remember much about posting pics and signatures at the end of my posts to list my toys.Glad to be here!

Personally if it were my new 6.4L id hold off for <a while> to see how
things shake out w/ the truck...the new regen/DPF needs some time...

in the mean time add yourself a GOOD set of gauges...EGT & TRANS
at a minimum.

the factory tranny gauge is worthless... Heres the PROOF

I dont know 'bout the 08's but dont put a TON of stock in that
oil pressure gauge either...it registers w/ only 6psi

consider adding a coolant by-pass filter...get all that casting sand and factory
added stop leak outta there as soon as you can...youll extend the LIFE of the
water pump and you likely will avoid any "blockage" issues later...
