We are a small snow contractor near Chicago and own 3 Ford trucks all of which are deisel. I joined to educate myself about some of the problems we have been having with our equipment.

We have a 2002 F-250 7.3 liter (Trogdor) 2004 F-350 6.0 liter(Big Red) and a 2006 F-350 6.0 liter ( Whity Ford) this is my truck!. All have Western Plows. Big Red has a Truck Craft tailgate spreader. Whity Ford has a Salt Dogg 2yd salter and Troger uses a Western Tornado spreader.
Heres my problem. Trogdor needs to have the engine pulled and the oil pan replaced. Big Red is in the shop during a snow strom with oil in the radiator and Whity Ford needs new batteries.

Hey Folks..Has anyone hear of an EGR by pass kit for the 6.0 liter?

Yes I hope so also. The dealer said about $3800.00 and it won't be ready till Monday. Pulled the f-250 out of service and just use it to get more bag material went and got batties for the 2006 at Costco...
