Help! Power Seat question!

Driver's power seat not working...heat is working fine. Took switch off and tried it on passenger seat and it worked fine. Every now and again you can feel a jerk in the seat when you move the switch but usually nothing, no sound, nothing.
Please give any suggestions you have...thanks!

Bad connection,circuitry leading to the motor or the motor itself is belly up.

Whats the year of your Excursion,how many miles,you still under factory/extended warranty plan?

It is an '02 Excursion Limited 7.3L PSD, 122K miles

Yeap outta warranty for sure,I haven't tried this yet but can you swap the passengers drive motor for the drivers to eliminate the motor?

I may be able to dig up the procedure if need.

Wasn't sure if that was possible or not. Didn't know if the motors were specific for left hand and/or right hand seating.

Yeah something very small can get in the track and screw the whole seat up.
