that would work. BUT the trained and experienced thief will bust the column apart and can manually override it. Or better yet, slide under the truck and pop the cable off the selector shaft. Bastards.

a good car thief can get past anything. the only way to stop them is to starve a boa constrictor and leave it in there, like the hummer from "gone ins 60 seconds"

or perhaps a car bomb that you could activate when you get out. :stir

anything to slow them down is worth it really.

you have a 6.0
it wont run with no fuel pump "ON" signal
to avoid jacking with the interlock switch,
interuprt the fuel pump "power" and it wont move, it will turn over all day lng but no start.

they could push it to eternity and aint gonna start.
the hidden switch somewhere only you know and not near the drivers seat wrks pretty good.
i flip mine each time i take it in to see if my tech can find it. so far its me winning hands down :D

but also i agree having the interlock and a fuel cut off would pretty much make em bring a wrecker to get it moved to mexico

next time i need a patrol car i am heading to wylie :innocent:innocent

The dark Green/yellow stripe on the fuel pump relay is the feed TO the pump. It goes from the relay to the inertia switch then to the pump. I suppose if you just put a switch in that circuit it would kill the fuel.

thats where the inertia / kill switch is
you can interupt any of the power wires i believe mine is orange stripped , wil have to go look round
IRC there is a power feed to teh inertia , then an out put to the pump relay and a ground.

i killed the pump relay power. then ran wires to a switch

disclaimer
if you have a 7.3 it wont work.... i left min eoff for a whole trip to work on my 02 and it ran bad but i still managed the pseed limit.
it hit me as i parked at work that i had left the switch in the KILL mode
the 6.0 programing has it as no fuel pump= no engine run
