2004 F350 6.0L. Just started this. You pull up to a stop sign and all of a sudden the motor revs higher then drops off like its stumbling ready to stall then back to normal, all within 10 seconds. Any ideas?
high idle then almost stalls with foot on brake

did you get the recall done for chaffed throttle wires?

It goes into the dealer tomorrow morning, I'll make sure I let the tech know, give him some help. Funny thing is, the EGR has been replced twice already and the truck only has 31,000. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

The truck is a 2004 6.0L crewcab 4x4 w/auto. I know the injectors have been replaced and EGR. I'll ask about the throttle chaffing.

Dealer says nothing is wrong, no codes, no nothing. I told him it would be back ASAP whe the problem did it for us. Thanks for your suggestions.

Finally, the trucks symptoms showed up at the dealer. The code said some part, EST? something was bad. Truck runs GREAT now, thanks for all the help.
