Wow, this is turning into way more than something I can do.

Me thinks I'll have to call the insulator & see what they have to say after getting a few quotes from drywall contractors to fix it properly.

heck, I'd call Zookie and have him get his arse over there on a Sunday afternoon;

drink beer, watch the Chargers get beat, wait for drywall compound to dry...

If you do some of it your self..

Zookie posted a great list of "how two"..

I would add.. if the chucklehead insulators stepped on the ceiling & not the joist they may have torn the sheetrock where you must reattach it.. if so.. I would go up onto the attic, find the spot and tack a 2x2 to the edge of the joist to give you something to screw the sheetrock to.... then mud in thin coats.. wet sand (no dust)

it shouldnt be more than 250 to fix it unless they cant match the paint, then paint ting the whole ceiling. ,
