I am doing some work on my son's 2000 F350 rear end and for kicks stopped by stealership to price their rear end oil for his truck. $25.00 per quart, that's $100.00 for a gallon. Rear end takes 8 1/2 pints. I did have one unexpected surprise, had to buy a VSS and expected to pay 25-30 dollars and they only charged me 17.00. I'll know to take the vaseline with me the next time I have to darken their door. Needless to say I do not get along with my local stealer.
