idle speed increase?

so my "redneck truck" (one of the salesmen at the dealership i work/bought it at said that jokingly lol) is pretty technomalogicamal after all.

Since you have a 6 speed instead of an automatic tranny, you'd have to set the emergency brake with the truck in neutral and then wait a few minutes for it to idle up.

All Superduties 99 and newer will idle up under the right conditions.

My 7.3 goes into high idle afte about 5 minutes or soat 40*+/- or colder. The idle is not as high now with the chip set on level 5 all the time but it still increases to about 880-900 rpm from 697(normal idle in my truck) where as it used to jump to 1000rpm. It may have something to do with the gutted ebpv too I guess, the wiring is still plugged in though. All the rpms are pulled from my AIC
