I seem to recall hearing somewhere that the SuperDoodie IDM (XC3Z-12B599-AA) were an upgrade to the older versions (F7TZ-12B599-AC).

Anyone remember the specifics? I thought I heard somewhere that they had a slightly higher voltage output..

I just picked up a SD IDM because I think I am having issues with my old one, and I am hoping that it will work even better than the stock one?

Any help is appreciated. Maybe I am just smokin something white over here.. Heh..

They are all the same pretty much and interchangable, but I believe there were 100, 110, and 120 volt models (I think those were the numbers). The modified ones are made to do 140 or so. :sweet

Maybe you will see a very slight gain if you stock one was a 100 and the one you bought is a 110 or 120 or something, but I think those differences are pretty much negligible.:)

Yeap, they are all interchangeable.

I have a 140V in mine ;)

Ok.. silly question again. How on earth do you know what version you have? There are only two part nunbers that I know of.. Old and New.
