Well I have a nice cut in my boot as you all can see..... Is there a way to buy just the upper boots? I've seen the complete kits, but I don't have the money to buy them. I'd rather just buy these if I can for cheaper.

Anyone know where I can get them for cheap?

IH/NAVISTAR will have them individually too.. prolly cheaper than Ford.

IIRC, the IH replacement boots are now upgraded, and better than the (02) OEM types ?

(Keep in mind (?).. that one went south.. the other 3 are soon to follow ?)

I would get a set and keep them in the truck. You will blow one on a cold winter night in the middle of nowhere.

There are places on-line where you can get connector boots by size dimensions. That's where I found the intake boots when I put in the larger 99.5 intake covers on my early 99 and still needed to hook them up to the early 99 "Y" plenum.

Got a new one from the dealer today. Cost me a whole $42. Took about 10 mins to get the old one off and about 3 mins to get the new one on.

She runs quite a bit better now with it not leaking at the hot side of the intercooler.
