:rant 2001 4X4 F-250. I have been buying my diesel fuel at CFN for quite sometime. I have been using diesel additives during the winter when moisture is high and plugging in the engine heater. I have been having some serious problems with water in my fuel. At one point when my wife was driving the truck it just sputtered and died on the road. She called and I told her how to drain the fuel filter it then started running real rough barely ran then after 10 minutes of driving it ran great. I am wondering if it is the fuel pump or regulator or just water? Need a new fuel filter? Any ideas would be appreciated. :rant Tim

First if you've been getting your fuel from one source that's had water within do you have other stations in your area you could try out?

I suggest a Dahl 100 or similar fuel filter/water separator so you'll have the ability to see how much water you're filling with.

Which fuel additives have you been using?

Where you at region wise? city/state area?
