Is this where I ask about tires?

I have a 4x4 dually with stock rims. I don't mind keeping the rims, but I'd like a fatter tire -- higher profile more grip taller. I cannot recall seeing duallies with nice aggressive tires -- am I out of luck or can I do it?

i saw a lifted '05 dually down in jacksonville, fl on tuesday. it had BFG All-Terrains all the way around. i couldnt tell ya what sixe they were, but they did look real meaty, and had a high profile on them.

they had to be at least a 305 on the width.

I don't even know if these wheels use studs or bolts, but do I need longer ones on the rear with the wider setup? And if so, where can I get them?

You can do a 255/85/16 BFG mud without any spacers on the rear. The tire is 33" tall and looks good on a dually with just a leveling kit.
It will give you the similar look as a 285/75/16 on a single rear wheel truck

Hey guys, long time no see. :)

I'm finally getting back to tires after procrastinating wayyy too long.

Ok, so do you think this setup would work. These would be BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM:
front: 285/75/16
dual rear: 255/85/16

Front tire height = 32.83"
Rear tire height = 33.07"
(0.24" difference)
