I've had my new F350 Super Cab Lariat for a couple of weeks now. So Thought I'd add some first impressions. WOW! It replaced my 96 F250 XLT and there isn't much comparsion. The truck arrived 38 days after I placed the order.
I've got about 500 miles. Average MPG is 15.5 mostly in town.
Miss the ability to fold the back seat flat. That's my only complaint.
This was a fully optioned truck GPS, Sirius, 4X4, etc. The only things I've added are a bed mat and tonneau cover. Would like to add under seat rear storage but can't find anything that will work with the subwoofer.
The engine is unbelievably quite as is the whole truck.
The transmission is great after you get use to it.
The ride is smoother than my 96 F250.
Lot of bells and whistles. One display shows where the front wheels are pointed but goes away in reverse, that seems dumb to me.
The truck is very comfortable and the rapid supplemental heater is appreciated.
Overall I'm extremely impressed with this truck.
