Hi my handle is Shaft850 and I just joined the forum. I am having some issues with my stock 2008 F350 6.4L.
My wife and I were on our way out to the desert last weekend with the 5th wheel in tow and the truck went into reduced power mode and I got the wrench icon on the dash also.
So I am here looking for some ideas on what may have happened....

We would all be guessing. You need to get it scanned at the dealer or a good auto parts store. Find out what DTC's are set (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). THen look the number up and that will give you a pretty good idea of what is wrong. YOU can get a scanner and look up the codes yourself. Just make sure the scanner will read CAN codes that Ford uses.
