This is not the only time. I have had3 trany's in 2 jasper's and a rebuilt from a nother person well schooled in them about 4 to 6 thousand miles it comes back on what is the best way to solve this problem

Pull the codes.

The codes will give you an idea on what is going on.

with the 7.3 you have the E4OD or a 4R100 which are for most purposes the same transmission. Do you have a chip or other power enhancements? if so what are they? The transmission is not overly complicated even to me as a novice when I built mine. Is the transmission covered by warranty? Given how few miles I'd expect it to still be covered.
