Looking at an 01 7.3L PSD...what to look for?

ok guys, just picked up an 03 X with a 7.3. Its a limited with leather and everything. drove her home from KY (2.5 hours)and WOW, it is nice!! Got her home and parked her in the driveway for about 10 minutes and moved her to find an oil leak Looks like trouble has begun.....

check the dumb stuff first... oil filter, drain plug, etc...

hey thanks JL, took a gander under there and it was pretty bad. took it to the stealership and they said it was the HP fittings on top. 100 deductible and the warranty is picking it up So far, it seems like a strong runner and we are hoping to get many miles out of it!! I am gonna order me a couple of CPS's and keep them on board for the inevitable failure. Thanks again folks....I am sure gonna be back on here more now that I actually own a PSD

Relax on th CPS's... If you feel nessasary get one and keep it around... But in over 700,000 miles in three differant PSD's I have lost 1 cps...
