Looking for an F450.....

Hey all, I'm looking to get a 2008+ F450 Lariat and was wondering if any owners have advice on what I should look or lookout for. It will be used for towing a 11000 lb trailer or haul a 5500 lb truck camper. I've heard fuel economy is kinda crappy, but that a DPF delete and tune help a lot. I'm no stranger to diesel performance or trucks, I'd also like to know if anyone is deleting the EGR coolers or any other mods that help with reliability and fuel economy. Thank to all in advance.

IMHO I would try to stay as stock as possible. I think DaveBen will second the notion. I don't think that's what you want to do so others that add aftermarket will have to tell you about their journeys down that road. Don't blow it up seeking power and BTW
