I've noticed a drop in fuel mileage in the cold, does anyone else experience this? I also put on 4" exhaust and shimmed the FPR....nice drop in mpg there.
Thought I'd share,
Jesse

Where are you located at? Good possiblilty that (if you live in a northern tier state) you are burning winter blend now, I typically lose 2 mpg in the winter.

I always loose feul mileage in the winter months generally 2-3 mpg depending on how long I leave it idle.

I live in Northern Ohio, and between the winter blend fuel and leaving the truck run occasionally i generally lose around 2 mpg. As far as I know theres nothing you can really do about the loss.

I lost about 5mpg`s in winter. But with longer warm-ups , idleing more when feeding livestock, to keep truck nice and warm . Is where some of mines is going to.
