Did about 330 miles today in the work truck (F350 6.4PS). I was able to avg 16mpg total. On the way home I was getting nearly 21mpg driving 58 to 60 mph. Not bad!

I've been talking for over a year about the same, I routinely get 16.5 avg of intown driving, easily make 18+ highway, and have even seen 21.4 hand calculated for long sustained highway driving around 62-65 mph. this is a job 1 truck as well. I was towing my brothers travel trailer about 7500lbs and avg'd 12.5

No it wasn't hand calculated- I've found the difference in the two to be very minimal- enough so that I can trust the readout to within 3 or 4 tenths. I just turned over 5000 miles yesterday, so I guess the engine has more breaking in to do.
Here's another thing I noticed. If you drive 70mph the mileage drops to 12mpg. The key to good mpg is keeping the rpms under 2000, and/or keeping boost under 10. As long as the tach is under 2ooo rpms the truck does really well on the highway.
I drove about 75 the other day for 100 miles and the mpg was about 11.7. I slowed down to about 63mph for another 150 miles and the mileage jumped to 19mpg

and keep in mind this is a dually, quadcab, 4.10 lsd, 6.4l automatic.

Gosh i just cant drive that slow on the highway!! I hate people who drive that slow. Im a 75+ guy. Maybe i shouldnt get a 6.4.
I'm trying to figer this out. I drove to north florida today and was running about 68 mph got 25mpg. Heres what nuts. I had to get back for a emergency and drove back at 80mph and got 26mpg. Yes it's hand calculated I did it three times to check. RPM running at 2500
