owner of a 2003 f-250 superduty, crew cab lariat.. of coarse has the 6.0 in it.. not to familiar with those engines so if any tips on them plz contact me.. have worked on many other diesels but not this one and have heard plenty of probs and so forth.. but i do like my truck and am gonna try to make it last me a long time.

Mike. Just like other diesel engines, the 6.0 wants the oil changed every 5,000 miles. Keep the filters clean and you should have a good running truck. I love mine.

Welcome to SDD.com - Like DaveBen said keep the oil and filters changed regularly - Oil is Crucial to 6.0 engine operation. Do that and it should last you a long time

My 06 has 53000 on it now and so far it's doing great. Love the way it pulls my 35 foot long fifth wheel.

Welcome aboard. Like the others have said, keep fresh oil and clean filters in it, and you'll be fine.
