Mixing Kerosene?

with the price of diesel going higher and higher, can you use kerosine, or kerosine mixed with something for fuel? Or is biodiesel the only alternative?

Kerosene can be blended with fuel but it's not cheaper than #2 or bioD here. It's best quality is to lower the gel point of fuel. Some who run B100 blend in 10% kerosene to make their own winterized B90. Its lubricating properties are poorer than #2 and waaaaaaay poorer than bioD.

You can add just 2% BD or SVO/WVO to the K-1 to make up for the lack of lubircation.

Remember, no road tax on K-1, so watch out for the tax man

kerosene is already over $4.00 per gallon..
I'm thinkin it's gonna be counter-productive...
