Here is my 87' Samurai, Toyota axles, 529 front and rear detroit lockers, custom shackle reverse, 2 1/2 lifted 4404's, Rancho 9000's, Trail Tough 6.5.1 t-case, 36x12.5x15 Super Swamper SX's, 8000 lb winch, interior roll cage, Toyota Power Steering, hyro assist. Sidekick 1.6 16 Valve, chevy altinator, Doug Thourly chrome header, 4x4 Labs High steer w/chevy 1 ton tie rod ends

Homebuilt Very nice job. I saw the episodes on Extreme 4x4 the other day where they built a Samurai. I must say yours looks better. They hacked the heck out of the body and put the cage on the outside. Yours looks to articulate about as good as there four link / coil setup.

I have started looking around for a set of 85' Toyota axles for my 42' GPW. You have any good sources? Local yards here don't have any.

I would do a diesel convertion if it was for the rocks only, but I really like the mud also.

I was gonna mention the Extreme 4x4 build. I kinda liked the exo roll cage. Very nice!!
