My truck is shocking me!

I noticed it last winter, and it's starting to do it again. Everytime I get out of my vehicle I get a shock of static electricity when I touch the door. It doesn't happen during the summer. Any ideas?

mine does the same. i usually try shutting the door with out touching it with bare skin(hand)...seems to help

prolly the drier weather , less humidity or somethin. sometimes you'll notice your house will do the same in the winter

Its caused by scooting your butt across the cloth seats with the drier weather. If ya drive a gas vehicle its always good to ground yerself out on the door before you pump gas.

wear corduroy pants






i heard scotchguard wil help limit most of the staic shocks
