National Doughnut Day

National Doughnut Day was established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to raise much-needed funds during the Great Depression and to honor the work of World War I Salvation Army volunteers who prepared doughnuts for thousands of soldiers. National Doughnut Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in June.



So have a donut today!

Krispy Kreme went out of business here, after only a year. Besides they weren't all that great.
I always thought every Saturday was doughnut day

I still wanna try that sandwich at a ballpark that consists of a burger without the burger buns, it's doughnuts instead.


It's like a 10 lb. increase in weight though.
