need help with remote start

I would like to install my viper 550esp remote start, keyless entry, alarm system into my sons 04 ford ranger, (4.0v6), all i can find is the owners guide. can anyone help with the install directions for this unit?
I did check out the viper web site, could not find any info on the install.

See if you can look up the model number on DEI's website, they make viper, as well as clifford, and many others...
