Need Help

I recantally purchased a EST (engine shutdown timer) from SPDIESEL
For my 2003 F-450 7.3 turbodiesel powerstoke
install instructions are very vage for my model of truck
Don't wont to tap into the wrong wire horness
Can any one advive me on were to turn

Have you checked there site? I got there brake controler and it didnt come with any directions -mad ! Called and he said "I dont send them just down load them" ! Well what if I didnt have net at home then I guess I would have to wait till monday!! Try there site

downloaded install instructions from web site.
said to reference color codes on said list! no reference list
in question
parking light wire 1
parking light wire 2
brake light wire
vehicle ignition wire
all have gruops of colors in each harness whitch one is the right one for the task
not included in instructions

 

[Max Power]

Park light will be brown at the park light switch. You won't need a second park light wire.

Brake light wire is Green at the brake light switch

Ignition wire is Red/green or white/yellow coming from the ignion switch.

You will need a Digital Multi meter, each wire should turn +12v when you turn the appropriate function on. Don't use a test light.

You might have to add relays and power up more wires for the ignition circuit to keep the truck running. Let us know how you make out.
