Need input...on tuner

I just bought an 07 powerstroke and I am getting the itch to put a tuner/programmer in it.

My choices are:

Edge platinum
SCT
Hypertech

I want the most HP but, the safest doing so.

SCT is the only way to go, best programing, best tranny controls, best updates... You can store as many tunes on your laptop as you want and just upload them to the tuner thru a USB port... Try that with any of the others! Edge has taken enough head gaskets that I would not put it on my truck, Hypertech is VERY conservative with there tuning...

While the unit is important, and I vote for SCT all the way...
the tuner doing the tuning for your truck is the important thing !!!!!!!

OK...I am going to go SCT. Now, is there anyone in here that sells them?

Also should I go with the xcal2 or which one?

There are alot of great custom tuners for SCT, ID. We sell alot of the Innovative Customs, and I run one myself. So, right now I really cant say, but I have heard very good things about all. I dont think you can go wrong with any of them. Eric goes far beyond the call of duty for our customers as Im sure the others do also. That is something to keep in consideration.

It would be nice to know who the innovator for performance tuning on the powertroke was. Or actually who spends the most money for R&D on the powerstroke than the other smokers out there.
