Question Need new lockouts...

What do i need to do get rid of the auto hubs on my 03, im tired of them. id like to put some warns on it but would like to know i need to get and whats involved with the swap

From what I was told, the Warn 11690 will fit right in place. All you need to do are cap the fitting on the back side where the vaccum tube goes into the hub and block off the vaccum line itself. I know of two people that have done this swap to eliminate the auto hubs and no problems so far. I have been thinking of doing the same thing to mine. Here is the application chart for the standard hubs.

I did that mod a few years back before I made the big leap to a Dyantrac.

I just bought the hubs and installed them...haven't gotten around to capping the vacuum lines. No ill effects, just takes a few seconds for the vacuum to suck the a/c gate from defrost to the vents.

You will burn out the Vacuum pump if you don't close off the lines going to the old hubs. Stick a golf tee in the hoses.
