Now that Ram will have a 1/2 ton diesel, I'm sure Ford won't be far behind. I don't think they'll let Ram get too far ahead of them. Also, this cutaway has a frame. I read an article awhile back that said the new Transit Van would be a unibody. Maybe this one has a unibody cab with the frame attached. That same article also mentioned that they would continue to make the E-Series cutaways. Guess that's changed now, unless they're going to sell them "side by side" for awhile.

the E series cutaways are still going to be produced, i read some were going to be built in mexico until the plant int eh US was reconfigured

but the E series platform will not be available in a full van as it once was.

the transit is going to be a full framed in the cutaway
and i read to the full van body will or could be a unibody
i have to go dig out my auto-field guide from a few months back to verify. sprinter is a full frame if irc

not to flip the subject...but 450 chassis crew cab and single cab diesels are now being used to bring back a great class C camper setup from days gone by.
