Hey guys and gals! A friend of mine sent me here when he heard I was interested in getting a new daily driver/tow rig...
Hmmm a little about me... I'm 18 and a freshman in college.
I'm currently in Texas but have decided to pursue a different path so I'm going back home (Fresno, California) to get a degree in computer aided manufacturing...

I work at a local machine shop in Fresno and love it to death...

Well hopefully I don't get flamed off the site :innocent but I don't own a ford :)

My current project is an '85 K10... 14ff/10b/4.10's/8"/38.5's/2nd gen 700r4/rebuilt NP208 TC/big audio :)

My current daily driver/tow rig is an '00 obs Chevy C2500... BB454/4L80E/14ff/3.73's w/ a G80...

BUT my dad owns a ford so I guess I'm partially in the blue oval family :)

Its a '75 (well kinda...as far as DMV is concerned it is) F250... started life as a highboy but the frame is cut and boxed and its now a standard cab short bed... 390 bored .060 over, 4 speed, d60/hp44 w/ 4.10's and some 35's...

Here is the lineup...

Well thats about it I guess... I know I'm young but hoping to be able to pick up a new daily driver/tow rig that can also help establish some credit by showing consistent payments on a "new" truck...also having a rig that can pass the gas stations a little better than this big block vortec and still tow my k10... we go to Oceano dunes so it'll spend most of its life towing back and forth between fresno and pismo :)

haha thanks guys...

Yeah Big Joe that path to Pismo gets worn out from us too ;)

I hear Ya. Was just down there Wednesday (Pismo Dunes RV park) retrieving one of those [leave it at the coast] RVs. Wet soggy, drip'n foggy here. 75* and clear there. Makes a body wanta live there. BIG bucks to do it tho.

Yeah it depends on what kind of lifestyle you live...
I've got friends that live about 5 minutes from the dunes (you can hear the dunes from their house) but its not in the popular tourist area so its not bad... sure its expensive but still a nice life if you just like to work during the week and play on the weekends ;)
