hi guy's i'm replacing my 4:10 gear's with a set of 3:55 what do i have to do to the ecm to get the proper speedo readings thank's chuck

I use a Superlift TruSpeed speed sensor recalibrator on my truck. It has different settings to correct different tire sizes and gear ratio's. It works well on my truck and is only 1 or 2 mph off.

Patrick, the SD's have different speedos than the 94-97 MY trucks. We can recal ours following THIS PROCEDURE.

Thanks Stroker, I wasn't aware of that option. I just remember when I bought my superlift tru-speed it said it would work on most ford pick-ups 92 and up.
